I LITERALLY JUST WANT AN EXPLANATION
BECAUSE THAT'S CUT ME OFF FROM SOME OF MY FAVORITE UNPUBLISHED WORKS AND SOME OF MY CLOSEST INTERNET FRIENDS
ON MURTAGH AND THORN:
Mike: Will we ever encounter Thorn Directly?
Christopher Paolini: I don't think it's giving away to much to say that yes, yes you will. Murtagh and Thorn have much much much more of a prescence in the fourth book than any of the previous ones, including Eragon. I mean the funny thing is even though they're really important characters we don't see much of them at all in Eldest and Brisingr you know they only show up for a few scenes and those usually just involve shouting and waving swords for the most part. Murtagh's story in Inheritance is probably my favorite part of the book, along with a few other pieces. I didn't write anything from his point of view so we're not going to actually get inside his head but just the scenes that feature him and the way they play out I liked them, they really got to me and Michelle (his editor) responded very well to them as well as everyone else whos read it. So, you know, fingers crossed that everyone will feel the same way.
Just changed my theory that Murtagh will die in Inheritance.
THERE IS HOPE!
