Chuck Schumer is living in an imaginary world in his mind, and anyone who believes in anything Chuck Schumer says is likewise out of touch with reality. In the past there have been several so-called government shutdowns for a little while until Congress got around to passing a budget resolution. I defy you to cite one example of anyone who suffered hardship because of the government shut down perhaps other than the nonessential government employees who got their back pay once Congress passed the budget. A million people suffer hardship all the time of getting by with less than that which those nonessential government employees had to while they were furloughed for a little while. If there are government employees who are nonessential, why do we have them? Chuck Schumer is the number one nonessential employee.
