El’s ring is NOT a heart, actually!!!
It has the shape of a sideways raindrop, and in this lighting it actually does look like the same ring Nancy wears in s1!
I do still think Nancy’s ring might be a little thicker than El’s though, but the color looks identical as far as I can tell. Nonetheless, both girls wear their rings on their right hand’s index finger (same place) and they are all in all almost identical so the parallel remains!
A thing I noticed in Bendy and the Dark revival into
At the start of the game we get some monologue form Audery (sorry for the poor quality but I’ll write the dialog to since image is s^it)
Audery: “We’re always free to chose”
“To believe what we want to believe”
“But then you step back”
“When you really look at where you’ve been”
“And the things you’ve done”
“Your past will come”
“To devour you”
-
Dose that sound familiar?
To some of you it really should
Like one of the Ink demons most iconic voice lines
The Ink demon: “Who are you? Tell me your sweet name, so I may Devour it”
Idk what it means bur food for thought :p Parallels~
Hell Auderys monologue at the start of the game is probably Audery post game telling of this tale, the wreakege of Joeys old house, and deaths form the Ink demon in the game is called being consumed so ye, funky stuff
Did Anyone Else Notice This (Maybe Spoilers)...
When it comes to brotherly relationships, the Minamoto brothers and the Yugi twins mirror each other in an interesting way.
Teru and Hanako are both older brothers who have to look out for and protect their younger siblings. While Hanako and Tsukasa had a pretty toxic relationship, Teru and Kou's is far healthier in comparison.
While Teru can be a bit controlling, he seems to be coming from a good place and just wants to protect Kou, but he can also be manipulative and cold when he wants to be (just almost never towards Kou) while also allowing his brother his freedom to do things his own way.
Tsukasa is controlling in the worst way. He emotionally manipulates Hanako and possibly even gaslighted him (which could have really screwed with his head). He never let Hanako leave his side and it was always his way or he would bring the pain.
Hanako and Kou are the good siblings in their respective families (if we don't count Tiara) and have to deal with a controlling sibling. Kou respects and looks up to his brother (even if he's more weary now) while Hanako is terrified of his own (while still loving and caring about him).
It's like a flip and reverse in almost the worst way possible.
Ghosts of the Shadow Market- Adopted Brothers
Son of the Dawn:
Max stared up at Jonathan in awe. He dropped his stuffed rabbit on the cement floor, shuffled forward, and hugged Jonathan's leg... "Hello Jonathing," Max said, muffled into the material of Jonathan's trousers.
Jonathan patted Max on the back, very tentatively... "Jonathing can sleep in my room because we love each other," Max proposed.
The Land I Lost:
"No bed!" [Max] argued. "Stay up. Be with Rafe." He sidled up to a stunned-looking Rafael and gave him a big hug. "I'm love him."
Rafe hesitated, then hugged Max shyly back.
