Triple Dog Dare You || Catia
Night had fallen as Jay was feeling a bit restless. In a few days he was going to have to prepare himself for a huge game and he was slowly psyching himself out. It was all too good to be true. How could a kid of a great evil villain such as Jafar, get to be in this kind of situation? One that presented nothing but good things for the future.
That’s not who he was supposed to be.
Being in Auradon was changing him for the better and he wasn’t sure if it was something he was ready for. He was still growing and wanted to experience all that he can before having to settle into something once he’s an adult. “Stupid..” Jay muttered as he pushed himself up from his bed that was ever so comfortable. He glanced back at his bed, not remember ever growing up sleeping on something so comfortable. It was more of ‘Sleep where you pass out’ kind of way for him.
A long sigh escaped him as his gaze traveled across the room, seeing his friend fast asleep with the dog he had grown attached to. He wasn’t going to get anything out from him. Once Carlos was down, he was down for the count. There was no waking him unless there was food involved. Shaking his head at the way the two had fallen asleep, Jay made his way over to the door and out of the room. There was bound to be someone awake at this hour like he was.
Then again, not everyone was sleep deprived as he was.
Jay had made his way to Mal and Evie’s room, slowly placing his hand on the door knob and turning it as quietly as he could. Keeping the door ajar, he slid his head in just enough to look around the room only to see the two ladies fast asleep too. One hugging onto her pillow and drooling while the other buried under mounds of fabric. Another two down for the count. After retracting his head from the door, he carefully closed it and grunted a bit. Those were the main three that he was willing to get in trouble with. It seemed as though he was on his own this time around.
Just as he was making his way back down the hall something suddenly hit him. He had remember meeting a girl awhile back when he first came to the school. He had heard stories from his father about the girl’s parents but never knew that the two had children of their own. Normally speaking, he should despise those that did his father wrong. However, since he was changing and opening himself up to new things, he gave the girl and her brother a chance; also giving himself a chance to get to know them.
“I wonder what she’s up to?” he thought himself while making his way further down the corridor that held the females of the school. It didn’t take him long to reach the desired room he was looking for. Judging by the darkness that loomed under the door, he knew that she was asleep like the rest of them. Why wouldn’t she be? It was closing in on three in the morning and he was the only insane person lurking around.
Without hesitation, Jay opened the girl’s door and walked right in. He had been inside Catia’s room before but only to ever see what she was up to and it was usually in the day. The only other time he visited her at night was when he knew she was up and would have the strongest urge to bother her. Upon stepping into the room, he rolled his eyes. The window was left open as usual. From all the stories he heard from his father, her mother would always have her curtains drawn on her balcony; letting in the night without a care in the world. “Like mother, like daughter.” he whispered as he began walking over to her bed.
Carefully, Jay sat down on the edge of Cat’s bed, staring down at her while she slept. He was a bit surprised that she was actually there, not having seen her in awhile, he assumed she went off to have some sort of adventure that she’s always talking about. He reached over towards her face and gently stroked some of her hair back that covered the side of her face. He then leaned down towards, moving his lips towards her ear and began to whisper. “Time to get up--” he spoke in a calm soft tone. Jay was positive that the whisper wasn’t going to wake her up, so he did the next best thing. He tilted his head to be aligned with hers, face to face, before moving in closer to press his lips to her nose and blowing hard into her nostrils. Jerking back rather quickly as he burst out into laughter. “Wakey, wakey! Ain’t no rest for the wicked.”
