Hands intertwined, heads looking up at the starry sky, you take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
"Getting cold?" The man beside you asks, a hint of a smile forming on his lips.
You shake your head and lean against his shoulder. "No, I'm fine."
"Hmm, I don't think so," Dazai muses, suddenly pulling you closer and wrapping you in his arms. "Let me keep you warm, belladonna."
Before you could react, you feel something cold land on your cheek. Looking up once again, the telltale signs of the first snowfall catches your attention and lights up your eyes.
"It's time," Dazai says and he slowly takes his hands and cups your cheeks. "Happy anniversary, my love."
Your smile could easily brighten the night as Dazai leaned in and placed a soft peck on your lips. Pulling him closer, the cold was long forgotten as you shared a longer kiss that warmed you up in all the right places.
