girl who can't stop thinking about the post-quest anniversaries: do u think sam ever thought frodo was actually going to die?:(( especially later down the line when his illness progressed and got so bad that it meant sam had to essentially become a healer of sorts. do u think he ever sat beside a barely-responsive frodo and watched him take what he thought was his final breaths, crying and holding his hand, trying to be brave whilst he reassured to him, whilst knowing that he had no real help now they were at home and miles away from anybody who knew what they were doing more than sam did. do you think he ever wondered when to write to those closest to them to ask them all to say goodbye??
HOT TAKE: Tim Drake should always be annoyed when he's sick, bc he has a really good immune system and is used to taking care of himself with it. He doesn't get sick often
This all to the end that, once his spleen is gone, he gets sick constantly, and it's a new source of stress and frustration for him
I know that the back of the hand is supposed to be more accurate for checking for a fever but like... palm feels so much more intimate, you know? Back of the hand, it's like, "Oh, they're checking the character for a fever"
But if they check the character with the palm of their hand, I'm like "OH GOD OH GOD IT'S HAPPENING 👀🔥🔥🔥"
Tired from meds, but pushing on! I might be done soon. I'm so nervous, I hope you guys think it's alright. I welcome constructive criticism, I want to improve as a writer.
