the amount of job applications i sent today... i almost lost me mind. i had to make an account for EVERY SINGLE APPLICATION PORTAL for every single different company i applied to. i had to attach my resume to all of them. all of them asked me if i wanted my application to be autofilled by resume and for all of them i had to fill everything in anyway. half of them asked me if i wanted to link my linkedin profile and when i did connect it i still had to do all of that. each application took between 15 and 30 minutes. mandatory assessments and questionnaires and answering questions that are most likely going to be asked in an interview

don't you love when the entire system is designed to make things as difficult as possible from the very beginning

you are literally set up to fail from the START if you're not 100% committed and able to jump through on fire hoops in order to beg to be considered for an entry level minimum wage job that if no one did entire companies would crumble in on themselves
