“I suppose the weather is finally starting to feel appropriate to spring. It’s a nice chance of pace to have some warmth and gentle breezes.”

“I’ve sometimes wondered about things with my Grandfather, King Garon. My father and aunts and uncle speak of him fondly and of a bygone era of him acting kindly towards them. I’ve been afraid to say anything to the contrary, but it concerns me to hear that Grandfather didn’t make an exerted effort to put a stop to what was happening between the women he consorted with.

Or at least it sounds like he didn’t. I have to wonder if more of my aunts and uncles would be alive if there was more intervention on his part, however. I know this for sure: I will learn from what happened and I will do my best to protect the vulnerable from being hurt and exploited like they were.”

“Dusk Dragon’s teeth! How long has it been since I was last here? Where are all the castle staff? And where is my little brother? Mother? Father? Is anyone home?”

“Lady Joey’s heart has been carrying a heavy burden lately, and because of that I find myself thinking about a lot of weighty subject matter of late. I know that as a prince of Nohr and future King I will have my own share of heavy burdens to carry. But not all burdens are the weight of a kingdom. 

I hope that I will be wise, and good, and that I will not only be strong in body... but in my heart as well. Strength of heart is difficult to build, and those who are strong in their hearts are truly admirable individuals indeed.”

“I’ve come to apologize on behalf of Lady Joey. Both of us are aware that today was supposed to be a day of significance. Unfortunately, things have gotten away from the both of us, and celebrations will need to be held off until tomorrow. Again, apologies, and thank you for your understanding.”

“’Nobody has ever died from not having access to a healer.’  Never have a heard something so daft in my entire life. Soldiers die on the battlefield without a healer. Many children die before their time without magic or medicine to aid them. Healers are an essential part our continued existence, sir. ... And I pray you do not find yourself without one.”
