hai uhm,i have this thing where i create sigils via drawing art with intention. someone says it doesnt count is that true?

Hi! I’m not sure what this person was on about because I absolutely think that can count as a sigil!

While there are common methods for sigil creation out there (such as Austin Osman Spare’s technique or using Witch’s Circles), you do not have to limit yourself to them. I know plenty of seasoned practitioners that create sigils with visual or time-based art techniques while others prefer storytelling or poetry. (Recently I’ve really been enjoying creating collage sigils!)

I think that if you find the process of drawing works for you in your practice, I would encourage you to keep exploring that! ☆

I don't know if you answer questions, but can you give me some advice on how to make my own sigils?

Oh I'd love to answer more witchy questions from y'all! My best advice for sigil making is just to basically doodle, keep elements you like along the way, and keep changing it until it feels right. Here is the process I took for my "Clear Divinations" sigil :)

Hi guys, I just made this quick sigil. Sorry for the quick nature, I couldn’t bother with futher aesthetics. My friend’s father was just killed in a hit and run bicycle accident and I was called to make this sigil out of grief and, honestly, frustration at people’s actions. I hope that this sigil may guide you away from other’s negligence as I wish my friend’s father was. I will be updating this post at a later date when they make a go fund me for funeral arrangements. May well wishes and compassion be with you all.
