no serious trans person/activist ever has denied that nor any scientist denied that, on the other hand the problem is that sex and gender don’t necessarily match. sex is real so is gender and so are circumstances in which your gender doesn’t match your birth sex, which btw is scientifically proven to hell and back so please don’t come back with pseudofakescience links disproving that because it’s pseudofake for a reason

congrats on the absolutely revealing language, but newsflash being trans is not a choice and it’s not a thing that you respect as a choice, it’s a thing you should respect on the basis of, y’know, basic human rights - you’re respecting my choice if I get an abortion and you disagree with it but still think I should be able to have one, respecting/recognizing trans people as such isn’t respecting their choice ffs because that’s their identity not a thing they randomly decided one morning and that you have to agree with out of courtesy
and that said, without me having a horse in this race in the sense that I didn’t gaf about jkr before her latest statements and I give even less of a fuck now: if you perpetrate rhetoric where being trans is seen as a ‘choice’, insists that birth sex is the only parameter someone has to follow to dictate their gender, supports people who face consequences for having expressed hateful sentiment for trans people/negating trans identities (I mean, people could and would lose their jobs for saying racist or homophobic stuff on social media in public and that’s not different), follows known terfs and has the paternalistic attitude ‘I know some people belonging to minority X and that’s how I know everything’ and on top of that has also publishes a book under another name which wasn’t only transphobic but you also could deduce quite bad homophobic implications just looking at the characters’s names then sorry but you’re perpetuating terf rhetoric at its best/most sly and I’m not here for it in any way shape or form. *shrug* now coming from me who even cares because I didn’t give a cent to jkr in my life ever not even buying the books for someone else and I didn’t plan on supporting her economically and I certainly don’t share content that gives her clout or anything so again I have zero horses in this race, but like.... please let’s be fucking real, that’s terfism. you can also like choose to not gaf because everyone has their limits when it comes to authors/creators they enjoy leaning politically differently from them, but to me terf ideology is def. a limit so sorry but I didn’t buy her stuff before and I certainly won’t in the future. godspeed.
