Just an fyi, I won't be on much on the 14th of this month as it will by my birthday and my boyfriend is taking me out for lunch, plus staying the night. I will try to respond where I can, I promise!
Exactly and when he wasn't on a mission, I highly doubt that they let him out to enjoy himself. He's a weapon and once you get done with a weapon, you clean it, make any adjustments, then close the case and leave it. My character at least has the benefit of being able to explore these things on his own because he's not completely tethered and he's really fascinated by light. It would be interesting to see what sort of thing Bucky would connect with first, like taste, touch, etc.
@silataani-the-lightning-god I’m now wondering whether he’d started connecting with his senses again every time they wiped him. Do the sensations come all at once or gradually as he develops his sense of self? Does he first feel his empty stomach rumbling as he passes a a food vendor and smells what’s cooking? Do any of the things he smells or tastes trigger memories of before Hydra? So many possibilities..
+1 Cloud Walker...
Dancing through the park and fields surrounding it was a past time that Lissa had aquired recently. When winter had set in and staying inside had become dull, and eventually unbearable, she'd started to take walks in all weathers. The occasional sunny days, surrounded by people and constant noise, where she would hum as she wandered, were the ones she found the least enjoyable. The crowds and noise meant that her dancing was broken up by avoiding people and strange looks. But today... Today was the perfect weather. The sky was a soft, murky grey with black clouds slowly moving in, raindrops falling in slow steady rhythms around her as she hummed little bits of tunes and moving to the sounds around her. She was a blip in the otherwise muddy background, red hair and blue boots making her stand out, yet anyone out in this weather ignored her like she didn't exist. Perfect. The roll of thunder wasn't unexpected, a wide grin slipping easily onto her features as the rain got heavier, starting to soak through Lissas jacket as she enjoyed the rain. The lightning that followed seconds later made her laugh out loud and bright, head tilted to the sky and spinning in circles as the storm raged on around her. Several dozen spins later she tripped over her own feet and landed, with a small yelp, on a dry patch under an oak tree. She giggled, curling up, eyes closed and laying her head on her arm to let the dizziness settle, staying where she was: for now. She opened her eyes, blinking a few times, certain she could see someone across the park, yet unsure since in was impossible to tell between flashes of lightning and the darkness brought by the clouds. She sat up, trying to focus... The haze of rain making it difficult, but she was almost certain there was someone watching now, so she took a chance and waved slightly. "Hello..." The mumble was more for her, than to actually be heard; seemingly attached to the small movement.
