SILENCE
* Ho deciso di accettare il tuo invito
e ti aspetto all’angolo di qualche verso.
Qui, dove la poesia si fuma l’ultima sigaretta
e la notte con i tacchi alti le dà un bacio.
Il posto dove iniziano gli assalti,
rapine perpetrate contro l’anima.
L’angolo dove bruciano le tue vocali
e le mie gonne conoscono le tue risposte,
L’unico punto in tutto l’universo
dove sempre la colpa è del caso.
Aída Elena Párraga
Silence is the loudest scream.
But my words like silent raindrops fell and echoed in the wells of silence
The Sound of Silence Simon & Garfunkel
Silence
But it is in silence I find my peace, and it is in solitude I find life’s true meaning. Because without nothing…there cannot be everything.
And yet I digress; as a cold heard grows cold in the absence of a soul…we find warmth is futile.
For it is that every ember, every spark, every spec of loving warmth…will one day become a frigid lump of void existence.
So what is the meaning of the existence of anything? The answere is simple. With every infinitesimal moment it grows closer, with every blink of an eye we glimpse into oblivion, and with every warm summer breeze it passes us by.
For the meaning of everything, is so that there can be nothing at all.
