sileneon: a trans (or otherwise non-cis) person who is typically not attracted to all genders, but is t4t/tlt/campion towards all genders. a trans/non-cis person who prioritizes or prefers relationships with other trans/non-cis people to the point that their own typical gender preferences do not always matter towards their t4t/tlt/campion attraction.
another term i’ve been thinking about coning for a while!
i find myself, as someone who typically feels no sexual attraction to women, thinking more and more about how i feel very t4t towards trans and nonbinary women. i realized that, while i would not date just any woman, i have felt so wonderful in every relationship i’ve had with another trans person that i feel my love for and attraction towards other trans people sometimes transcends my typical orientation.
i found the alternate term ‘campion’ for t4t/tlt, which is the inspiration for this name! campions are flowers in the silene genus, so this term is named after that.
the flag places pink, blue, and white stripes (modified from the trans flag) in the middle to represent the centering of trans love! additionally, i made versions with two versions of a t4t/campion symbol.
gender-wise: - pink is for trans/nonbinary women and other female or feminine genders/alignments - blue is for trans/nonbinary men and other male or masculine genders/alignments - purple is for those who are both male/female and/or masculine/feminine and for gnc trans people - green is for those who are neutrally gendered, partially gendered, agender, and anything similar - white is for those who are pangender, bigender, or otherwise multigender - yellow is for those whose genders don’t fit neatly into these categories (such as xenogenders/neogenders, agender men/women, etc.)
as for more poetic meanings: - yellow: joy and optimism - purple: pride and devotion - pink: kindness and love (and/or attraction, for loveless aros and others who prefer not to define their orientation as a form of love) - white: understanding and wholeness - blue: loyalty and safety - green: nature and life
