I think it's really funny though because for personal reasons I avoided object shows for a long time after very early 2021 and overtime I've grown a bit more comfy with it and now with II it's just BOOM!! Back in my life like I'm in 5th grade again >:)

But also I NEED to know what happens with Nickel & Balloon especially because I see ship art of them in the II 3rd season style and ? I'm curiously confused cuz I thought Nickel hated his ass!! That drama though? Mm juicy 10/10 but maybe they reconciled or something which would be nice to see :D or ppl just ship em despite it lol idk,,,just,,,curious on everything that's happened since I stopped interacting w/the object show community. I also have a thing for smug Marinette and Cat! Marinette. Like she can be shy and clumsy but still be smug. She is still good natured, is there for people and tries to help as much as she can but whenever she's provoked, teased or pushed around she would snap back and fight back.

Smug Marinette is usually when she's transformed since Plagg is a lil shit or when she's butting heads with Chloe cause that's jus their dynamic and I live for it (fanon and canon but only up to season 2 with season 3 exceptions). However it seeps into her civilian life and she's cooler and calmer when dealing with people and would smirk or grin. And I'm not talking devilish smirk, no that's more of Chloe, but 'i ain't taking your shit' smirk.

Vitamins are kicking in, so let's gooooooo: Mordeson headcanon time!

So, I believe that Mordecai and Benson always compete against each other.

Mordecai was the one who first started this trend by constantly finding ways to get into Ben's nerves but eventually, it led to them both doing it at random points during the day.

This includes random staring contents. Other times there's the challenge of who gets overwhelmed or leaves the room by throwing flirting remarks at each other.

Or if we want to go for a family mordeson moment, maybe they do that thing where both parents call the child and see whom they will crawl/walk to (signifying they love that parent the most)

But one that springs to mind is in a beach setting.

I imagine a scenario where the park crew goes to the beach in the summer to relax and spend time together (like those business leisure activities).

I like the idea that Mordecai and Benson are chilling together in the water. Then out of nowhere, Mordecai goes "hey, ben, betcha ya 10 bucks I can hold my breath underwater the longest" and Ben exhaustedly replies with "no, please, don't do this to me now".

But Mordecai (being the little shit that he is) does it anyway, much to the dismay of Ben, who decides to join along.

And I have another headcanon where, since Ben is a gumball machine, deep down, his got no lungs.

So, you'll see a crossed-arm Benson floating nonchalantly inside the water, just staring at his employer.

Kind of like this:

Meanwhile, Mordecai has a panic attack, feeling like his lungs might collapse at any moment after staying there for less than 3 minutes.

And Ben notices that in shock and signals him to go up to breathe, but a stubborn Mordecai refuses because he's not about to let Ben win.

Thus, a 'I'm done with u' Ben forfeits first and swims up, followed by Mordecai, who is quick to celebrate his victory by going "OHHHH, get owned, Benson!!".

Only to then have a gasping attack, grabbing his chest to get more air in his lungs while Ben only stares at him, disappointed. Still, Ben does that mouth-to-mouth technique on him, despite Mordo not really need it, as he's still on his feet.

Ultimately, it ends with them smooching while Rigby screams at them to stop acting grossly in public.
