on sam’s 16 birthday he decided he’s old enough for such a dorky nickname as sammy. really… what is this? he’s not a child anymore. so the first thing he did when brother came to congratulate him was to inform dean to call him sam from this day on.
of course dean rolled his eyes but said nothing. if the kid wants it he gets it.
the whole day was full of “sam do you want this or sam do you want that; sam what would you like to do next; no, sam, you can get everything you want today and no, sam, it’s not expensive… and so on”
sam sam sam sam
S-A-M
at the end of the day when they’re going to sleep, sam unreasonably (ahuh) felt off. something was wrong. so he walked into the room seeing dean lying on the bed flipping through one of his magazines. he stood at the doorway and watched him.
—dee..
—what’s the matter?
—I dunno. I feel strange.
—come here.
he put the magazine away and made a room between his legs tapping on the spot where sam was supposed to land.
tight hug from the big brother usually helps. dean embraced him and held him to his chest tickling a little to the point sam started kicking and giggling.
that’s better.
he stopped with a big smile on his face and pulled him closer whispering in his ear: “my sammy is still a baby”
—feel better?
—yeah
