Okay this’ll sound silly and I’m at a complete loss at this point,but like, I very much want to find a partner, a queerplatonic partner to be specific, I have a preference for women and trans/nonbinary folks, and occasionally have aromantic-squish’s for cisgender men but rarely. I was wondering if anybody had any advice on apps to get on? Or if I should go the in person route? Or maybe both? The problem with dating apps is that everyone inherently thinks it’ll be romance even when I have the options to put down asexual and aromantic and that I’m looking for a qpr. The few people that have hit me up all explicitly state that want sex or romance and I’m just like, huh??? Why are you clicking on me then??

Had this sitting around and figured you’d maybe appreciate some fanart of my Fullmetal au @marhan-writes-n-draws :)

I designed a contraption for Al to keep them upright during a narcoleptic episode or a FND seizure (still debating on whether both siblings experience seizures or it’s just one of them).

Ed loses more limbs and fingers due to keeping Al’s body in this AU and tethering them both to suits of armor on top of it all since neither are stable in their respective bodies from the toll. (Also gave him a back brace cuz all that weight on his spine has to be balanced at least a little - also considered giving him a feeding patch but I’ll have to do more research).

Also this is probably more dark (cuz we don’t have enough of that with FMA already lol) but in this version they were convinced to resurrect their mum via their dad, it wasn’t something they thought of or wanted to go through with originally.

Ed and Al end up working for other military folk before they partner up(hint, blood alchemist and been mulling Armstrongs too). are enlisted with Mustang’s crew. And yes, both siblings are enlisted in this version, both having high ranks at just twelve and eleven years old respectively.

Okay this is a genuine question here, like, I’m going to put in bold highlights here that I’ve only been on tumblr for around a year now. So please know I’m seeking answers here I’m NOT saying ai is good I just want to understand more thoroughly how to properly discuss and critique ai.

My biggest question revolves around the ethics about the ai google summary, like is this the only way online wise I’ll find articles?? Is it bad if I use the summary to understand things?? The summaries usually show the sources they pulled from which is what I then go read about and highlight in discussions. Is that unethical?? Is that wrong??? Genuinely asking and curious if there are ways to get around this and find resources for hyper specific questions without learning from an ai summary.

I truly wish I was able to read physical books more easily but access to libraries is difficult for me and in addition I have a lot of allergies around books bc they hold a lot of mustiness and mold in the state I live in. Even brand new stores or libraries aren’t guarantee for me cuz they’ll mix older books in the bunch.

The other thought I have is listening to lectures and podcasts which I do additionally, but I really enjoy tearing into scientific articles or litature in particular.

Again, not for ai, not what I’m saying here. Just asking questions so I don’t shoot myself in the foot and make people think I’m for ai.

Me: hmm, sure why not, I could use the distraction for a solid hour.

Motivation: *proceeds to lock the fuck in*

Me: well that was fun but I should probably- ooough why do I hurt everywhere? *glances at clock and sees it’s been nearly six hours, meaning no breaks, water, and barley a snack*

Me: huh.

Wrist: *cries in overuse*

Me: hm.

Motivation: *burnout now but giving thumbs up for mission accomplished*

Me: …well you’ve gotta admit the art turned out pretty cool though so worth it. ✨ (Not worth it don’t do this lmao)
