Doctor you started with: Nine - my parents were fans of the Classic series and wanted to watch the reboot when it started in 2005, and I decided to watch it with them since I was a fan of Christopher Eccleston and Mark Benton :P (Who played the conspiracy theorist that Rose meets) Christopher Eccleston and Mark Benton had previously appeared together in another series where Christopher Eccleston was the Son of God and Mark Benton was the Devil or something lol, and it was also written by Russell T Davis - I enjoyed it and that's what made me curious to watch Doctor Who ^^

Favourite Doctor:  Probably Eight in Classic Who, and Twelve in New Who :)

Favourite Companion: Is Chang Lee not a companion? :P OK then, Grace Holloway, or Bill from New Who :D

Favourite Episode: Am I allowed to say the Doctor Who movie? :P

DW OTP: Eight/Grace <3

Favorite line/quote: "I always drezz for the occasion" :P

Favourite Character that isn’t the doctor or a companion: Well, Chang Lee if he doesn't count as a companion lol, or Charlie Sato from the 'Tales from the Vault' audio series :P

Favourite DW fanart/blog (if you have one): @cosmic-shine‘s art is amazing, everyone should take a look at her stuff and commission her! Other favourite Doctor Who blogs include @ilwinsgarden's because she does amazing crochet, @unwillingadventurer because they know everything there is to know about the First Doctor's era, and @3rddoctor's for all the amazing Master stuff ;)

If you could pick anyone to be the next Doctor, who would it be?: I know my mam would like Idris Elba lol, and I think he'd be a good choice too :P But he's probably too busy with bigger projects ^^;

If you could pick anyone to be the next companion who would it be?: Yee Jee Tso, as one of the many Doctor Who characters he's played ;) (Chang Lee, Charlie Sato, Jal Brant, Reece Goddard...)

Favourite fan theory: I don't think I know of any? Other than a joke I came up with a while ago, when Clara was revealed to be the 'Impossible girl, destined to save the Doctor over and over' - Yee Jee has also played many different roles in the DW universe, so he is 'The Asian Child, destined to make the Doctor's life as difficult as possible' XD

I hear you. I hated most of the Divergent arc, even though I kept buying them as they were released, hoping they would improve. I can completely understand why Paul got bored and wanted to quit. But then along came Caerdroia, which is probably my favourite BF audio. Even if you don’t listen to any more of the Divergent stories, listen to that one. It’s fab. :)

I already bought it, so I’ll try to give Caerdroia a listen then. One more story with Eight and Charley that’s actually decent would at least help me feel slightly better after this. I feel so gross after listening to creed of the kroman like honestly there will never be enough showers in the world to wash the slime of it from my soul ewww

(Silverfoxstole kindly directed me here!) This is a random question, but do you know how much the original west end POTO brochure usually goes for, and if the one signed by Crawford will be awfully expensive?

A brochure signed by Michael Crawford will basically always be expensive, if the seller is aware that it’s signed by him. I guess the loop hole here is that sometimes - when there’s multiple signatures - it can be hard to read who’s who and they might just write “signed by the cast” and have amazing signatures in there. I’ve seen two such Crawford brochures (both US ones, though) go for way less than it would than if they’d listed it as Crawford. Alas I don’t have specific price examples for you.

The price of the original West End one depends on whether there is a current POTO hype (the 2004 movie and Royal Albert Hall were two events pushing the prices much higher than they’d been before). It also comes back to the seller’s knowledge - do they know it’s the very first print, or just a “random” West End 1986 Phantom brochure?

Be aware that 90% of the West End brochures on eBay that say “1986 brochure” isn’t the original one. Reason is that in the back, each brochure published after the original one states “First published 1986″ and UNDER they’ve written “this version published XXXX” (XXXX = year). But the sellers miss the latter line, and go by 1986 in their listing. So be sure the actual cast list shows Crawford, Brightman and Barton, and that it’s the West End one (the first Broadway ones were identical in cover; white, with the black printing and the golden Phantom crest).
