Thank you for the recs! I’ve actually read a few a these this past week and can confirm that they’re great!
become imperfect (series) by anto_txt and Edianares; M (H/C) - canon compliant; Worried. That’s literally what he said: worried. Like a friend would be, or a son, or any other loved one. Worried. A machine, being worried. Simulating, worry. -
Instructions Not Included by @sunsolaire; E (H/C) - post canon; Logically, Connor should have noticed something was different after the moment of his deviancy, after he consciously chose not to shoot Markus, but he truly didn’t notice it until months later, as he watched, in absolute interest, as Hank typed something on his computer across from him at his desk. Or: In which Connor simultaneously experiences an emotional and sexual awakening in the wake of his deviancy and handles it in the best way he can. By not telling anyone.
The Entire Memory of You (series) by @thefantasticm; M (H/C) - post canon; It was as he sat drinking his morning coffee that the slow grinding of those pieces falling into place sent a course of comprehension through his body: the tightening of his chest, the heat in the tips of his fingers, a simple message splayed behind his eyes as he looked across the table. Connor was in love with him.
How to be Authentic by StoriesFromDust; E (H/C) - post canon; Hank was at work. Connor should be at work. He frowned from the sofa, staring at his jacket across the room. He liked that jacket. His favorite part of being woken up after uploading to a new build was when he put the jacket on and fixed his tie. He was mad that it had betrayed him, become something that marked him as less-than-a-person.
