I just wanted to thank you for bringing this subject to mind (making images and videos accessible, I mean). It was something that I had genuinely never really considered before now as something that I, myself, could do. But realizing that this is something that anyone can do is really big. I think people just need to understand that. I'll be making an effort to make at least most of my content accessible from now on. So, yeah. Thank you for the insight. ♡

thank YOU! i try to set an example and teach by doing. because the way our society is set up, inaccessibility is just the norm so it’s really insidious. like, i *know* people don’t know about a lot of this stuff, and i don’t fault anyone for not knowing. i just want more people to notice when something’s inaccessible, that’s the first step, and i think showing what accessibility looks like is a good way to do that.
