The plaque said “President Theodore Roosevelt”. “If I were a statue, I couldn’t get in trouble.” Anna said with a little sorrow.

Notes: I used an inclusive 'we' and a familiar, archaic 'you' (basically 'thou' instead of 'you'). The inclusive we is pretty well implied by context; if you'd prefer a straight-up 'you' to 'thou,' essetya becomes esselya.

I was a bit free with the tenses, but there's only so much you can do with Quenya. Basically the future tenses stayed future, but the present tenses went into the perfect tense because reasons, except for "I can hear" which is in the aorist.

Quenya needs a future perfect like burning.

And I'm side-eyeing útitinwë, which I constructed from lintitinwë, 'having many stars,' by swapping out the lin- prefix (which denotes 'many') for ú- which denotes the absence of a quality, usually w/negative connotation. And it seems like it should be a perfectly good word, but for some reason it looks wrong. But I can't think of another way to say 'starless,'  sooooooo....

Hey there! Um I was wondering if you could do a translation/transcription for me? I want the lyrics to "In Dreams" (the cool choir song sung after May It Be, also called the Road Goes Ever On Pt 2) to be translated in Sindarin and transcribed in Tengwar if that's okay. Could you do it? I would be forever grateful.

I am a Quenya-only person, alas. :(

Can any of my lovely followers provide some guidance or recommend Sindarin translators?
