Grand Duchess Lillian and Lady Lauren of Hallow Slough hose SimDependence Day Gala at prestigious SimDonia Prepatory School

Each year, a charity gala is thrown to raise money for the cause of the host's choice. This year, Hallow Slough hosts are collecting donations for several merit scholarships to attend SimDonia Prepatory. The scholarships will give a full ride to several students of need to the prestigious school.

Plenty of nobles, aristocrats and wealthy business owners pay top dollar to attend the event and write even larger checks to the cause. Of course, royals also often make an appearance outside of the royal hosts. We're excited to see TRH Grand Duke and Duchess of Cypress supporting the cause.

They are photographed above, both wearing a matching purple color. With them is Lady Lauren donning a red ballgown, Grand Duke Alvin who's wearing an off-white blazer and the lovely Grand Duchess Lillian who stuns in a red ballgown with a ruffled bustle.

Putting on an event like this takes months of planning and continues the celebration of SimDonia's Simdependence. This week is all about giving back, highlighting SimDonia's culture and coming together to move the country into the right direction in the future. A sentiment that Grand Duchess Lillian expresses at length during a celebratory toast near the conclusion of the event.

(Summer) I don’t think they are, didn’t Henry say he had a call with his mum? 

(Lillian) To this day he’s still the biggest mama’s boy.

(Jamie) But don’t forget about the time Summer caught them napping together in his room. 

(Summer) I just don’t get it. If they’re dating or whatever, why be so hush hush about it? 

(Matthew) Maybe it’s his ‘cause of his family, publicity and all that. 

(Lillian) But Henry’s not like that, he doesn’t care.  

(Henry) I don’t care about what? 

(Matthew) Summer you owe me §10. 

(Himari) §10 for what? 

(Summer) I’ll tell you later. 

(Jamie) Where were you two? 

(Henry) I had to call my mum. 

(Himari) And I, you know, got distracted.  

(Jamie) Right. Of course. Anyways, we should get started.

Diana invited some people over for a lowkey birthday celebration at their vacation home. The guest list included most of the senior royals, her best friends, and of course close family. She got some great gifts, had a beautiful cake, and aged up to an adult in style.

Diana's Voice: You are recieving this correspondence because as a Senior Members of the Royal Family, your duty to your country is very important. The significance your role plays within this family and beyond does not go unnoticed.

Diana's Voice: As your Queen, my duty is to ensure we are reaching our full potential to do our part for SimDonia and it's citizens. Which is why I'm implementing new guidelines for all members of the SimDonian Royal Family. Please see the following.

Diana's Voice: The security of our family is of the utmost importance. We will be increasing the number of security guards for all members of the family. No one is permitted to waive security detail at this time.

Diana's Voice: There is now a minimum requirement on number of engagements. Each member will be assigned a number to strive for. This number will be set by the Soverign Office and Monarch Advisory Board.

Diana's Voice: Each year, every member must attend at least two Parliament sessions for their State. Attending these sessions do not fulfill engagement requirements.

Diana's Voice: It's critical that our family shows a committment to our Faith. As Head of the Jacoban Church, I'm expecting every member to attend services at least twice a month. This does not fulfill engagement requirements.

Diana's Voice: A proper education is essential for young family members as they learn how to continue the family legacy. A new and more robust Regal Excellency Curriculum has been put in place. New highly-quailified tutors will be assigned to all families with school-aged children replacing previous tutors and curriculums.

Diana's Voice: As for young family members, we want them to enter, not only the family, but the Institution that upholds our legacy. To do so, new parents will be required to present the new baby to the Monarch at Willington Palace. A small ceremony including the Trilogy of Praise will be anointed onto the child by an Eye of Jacob. The child's Watcher's Guides may also be present.

Diana's Voice: Before I continue, I believe it's important for me to inform you that enforcement of these new procedures will be strict. Violations will result in a fine to your Duchy's treasury which is public record. This is not to be seen as a punishment, but incentive to do your part for your family and country.

Diana's Voice - Each family will meet quarterly with the Monarch Advisor, Lydia Johnston. Lydia is well-versed in not only our monarchy's history, but monarchies across the simverse. Her role is to ensure the SimDonia Monarchy operates to the best of its ability.

Diana's Voice: As you all know, appearance plays a major role in our work, especially for female members. We are officially implementing a formal dress code and each family will be assigned a stylist to help everyone adhere to the new code.

Diana's Voice: Being a healthy and strong Royal Family sends a message to the world. To ensure every member is in good health, regular health screenings and evaluations will begin taking place.

Diana's Voice: I trust that everyone will see this as a new beginning to a long and bright future for our family and the country we love and serve. One SimDonia United.

SimDonian Royal Family Celebrate Winterfest Together at Willington Palace

It’s that time of year where families gather and this year, The Royal family is no different! The beautifully decorated Willington Palace drew not only inches of snow but all the senior members of the Royal family, as well! Crowds gathered at the walls to try to catch a glimpse of a family member as they drove up the Willington Palace drive and into the new Palace courtyard.

Sims waved flags, took photographs, and cheered as a line of cars made their way through. The excitement is understandable as it’s not often the whole family comes together. Each family normally celebrates seperately in their respective homes across the country. To see the senior members altogether certainly puts a special buzz in the air!

Particularly sneaky sims tried to get close to the courtyard to see the royals arriving. While its possible to get a view, it can easily be obstructed or you may be asked to move by a Palace Guard. But a reporter of ours managed to capture this photo of HRH Grand Duchess Lillian of Hallow Slough along with HRH Grand Duke Alvin of Hallow Slough. Though we couldn’t capture a great photo, a nanny is also seen holding one of the couple’s twin children who have yet to be seen by the public or have their names revealed.

Diana: That wasn’t so bad, was it?

Gerhard: We’ve certainly experienced worst.

Diana: That’s for sure. But, tonight? We put it all past us. Right, my little Prince?

Parker: Randa!

Maranda: Well, hello, Mr. Parker! I hope everything is to your liking.

Diana: Wow, Maranda. You’ve outdone yourself. This looks amazing. 

Maranda: Guests should be arriving soon. We’ve also upped security as you’ve requested.

Gerhard: Thank you, Maranda. Parker, want to dance?

Parker: Danse!!!

Diana: Good job, Parker!

Maranda: Guests are here. Go ahead, Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness. I’ll keep an eye on Parker.

Gerhard: Thank you, Maranda. Have fun, Parker.

Diana: Little Beckett is so adorable! I’m so excited you brought him. You know the world wants to see more of the Lockwoods.

Beckett laughs: I know. I know. I think we’ve been enjoying time off a bit much lately. Elena’s struggling with keeping up, but I convinced her to take some portraits that we will release soon.

Diana: That’s wonderful! Please, let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I don’t want to force anything, but want to keep the people happy, as well.

Beckett: I understand. I promise, SimDonia will be seeing more of us.

Diana: It looks like Beckett Jr. is ready for that.

Beckett laughs: I think you’re right.

Alvin: So, how have you guys been holding up? It’s been about 4 months since... the incident, right?

Gerhard: If you don’t mind me speaking freely, it’s been a challenge. But that woman I married? She is tough. I can’t even imagine what’s she went through, but she keeps on going.

Lillian: That’s Diana for you. I don’t know how she does it. But I’m so glad everyone’s safe and happy and that it’s over, right?

Gerhard: Yes, I believe so. Security team has assured us that the Pendites United movement... died with him.

Alvin: Let’s hope so.

Phillip: Happy Birthday, Parker!

Quite a few engagements and weddings have happened in the background of the story so my last gameplay post before we get back into things will feature that! You know I love a good wedding! Warning long post!

While Gianni was off causing havoc in Del Sol Valley, his cousin and roommate Rylee was attending university. She was excited to finally graduate!

The crew all gathered for the ceremony including parents and her long-term boyfriend Lamar. 

After the ceremony, Lamar got on one knee and proposed! Of course Rylee said yes! Time to wedding planning!

Rylee opted for a Sulani wedding since her parents bought their childhood home and lived there. Her wedding theme was purple. Her sims of honor were Eva and Grayson and her dad walked her down the aisle!

HRH Duke Adam of Cypress is the last of the Grand Dukes to wed! He’s been dating Lady Katrina for some time now and he’s finally ready to tie the knot!

The couple wed at the Riverside Rose Gazebo where Duchess Elena and Beckett were married.

Eva

Last not least, the last of Wu cousins is tying the knot! Always a bridesmaid, but now it’s Eva’s turn to be the bride! We will see her wedding soon, but her boyfriend Tanner decided to plan an extra special proposal for her at the concer of one of her fav bands!
