Maximus (on the phone): I heard you lost to the Frederick boy the other day. How could you let this happen?

Leon: Father, I tried my best but—

Inggar Palace, Langdale (2:45pm)

Maximus: Excuses! I thought we’d already given you the best education and training but it seems like you’re still a failure.

Leon:...

Maximus: Both of you are future Kings. But you are weak against him.

Leon:...I’m sorry, father.

Maximus: *huff* His mother came to visit us the other day. I can’t believe they let a woman like her rule the country. She wears her heart on her sleeve. That is not how a monarch should act.

Leon: Why are you telling me this?

Maximus: I don’t want you to be like the Windasian royals. They are open about everything. They don’t realize that they’re exposing their weaknesses to their enemies.

Leon: Do they even have enemies, though?

Maximus: Everyone has enemies, Leon.

Leon:...

Maximus: I want you to make sure this won’t happen again. You can’t lose to him.

Leon: I won’t.

Maximus: Good. I need to visit your grandfather, he collapsed again today.

Leon: Oh...I hope he’ll feel better soon. And tell mother I said hi.

Maximus: Call her yourself. Goodbye.

Leon: Bye—

Leon: *sighs* I need a break.

*door closes*

Alfie: So when are you taking the test?

Marie: I’m not sure yet. But thanks for the lesson today though.

Alfie: *chuckles* I didn’t do much, your brother helped too.

Marie: He’s just sitting at the back yapping to “be careful” and screaming every time I went over the speedbump.

Oskar: Excuse me for fearing for my own life.

Alfie (in the background): He’s being reasonable.

Marie: Are you saying my driving is not improving?

Alfie:...I didn’t say that.

Leon: Mother’s not picking up.

Leon: Huh?

Leon: *muttering* He even has that Savarian Princess on his side.

It’s A Boy! 

It’s a boy! This morning, The Crown Princess and The Duke of Windslar welcomed their third child. Both The Crown Princess and the child are doing well. The child is fourth in line to the throne. Later in the afternoon, Their Royal Highnesses will participate in a photo call outside of the Minsta wing to present their son to the world. 

Following the announcement, The Duke of Windslar departed the Minsta Wing for Hemstad Primary School to bring Prince Oskar and Princess Marie back to the hospital to meet their new younger brother. The young Royals are said to be very excited at the news of their brother’s arrival.

Prince Oskar and Princess Marie arrived with The Duke of Windslar at St. Peter’s Hospital to meet their little brother after their shortened day at school. It is rumored that both Prince Oskar and Princess Marie had a hand in picking out their little brother's name. The name of the baby will be announced this afternoon when The Crown Princess and The Duke of Windslar appear outside the Minsta Wing for the traditional photo call.

The Duke of Windslar joins Prince Oskar on first day of Scouts

Today, His Royal Highness The Duke of Windslar travelled with Prince Oskar to his first official Scouts meeting in Tindra. Prince Oskar joined the Scouts last Fall but was unable to attend any meetings due to the war. The Duke has been Patron of the Savarian Scouts since his marriage twelve years ago. 

Scouts is an organization for boys and girls to connect with nature, develop new skills and make lifelong friends. Sources close to the family say that Prince Oskar has developed quite the knack for fishing and has made multiple friends who coincidently attend Hemstad Primary School with him.  

The newest Scout Leader is a longtime friend of The Duke’s, Mr. David Reeley. While the children were distracted, His Royal Highnesses was given a tour of the newly redone camp grounds. The pair discussed how the new changes have helped make the Scouts program that much more enjoyable for it’s members. 

This wasn’t an average first Scouts meeting, it was an overnight one. Before retreating to their tent for the night, Their Royal Highnesses joined Mr. Reeley the other children around a fire to roast marshmallows and tells stories in true Scout fashion.

Happy Birthday Oskar!

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Oskar of Windslar turns 11! His parents, The Crown Princess and The Duke of Windslar are pleased to release a series of photographs taken a few weeks ago at their home, Burg Palace, to mark the occasion. 

The Crown Princess and The Duke would also like to announce that Prince Oskar will not become an official working royal until he is 18. The decision was made so that the young Prince could enjoy a sense of normalcy while he transitions through the naturally difficult time of primary school and secondary school. At the age of 18, he will be able to decide on his own what he is passionate about, and how he can better serve his community. 

His Royal Highness will begin 6th grade this coming fall at Hemstad Primary School. Prince Oskar will be joined by his younger sister, Princess Marie as she starts her first day of nursery school which is located on the same campus. Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank everyone who has sent their happy birthday’s and well wishes to Prince Oskar. Happy Birthday!
