"It is just too hard to bite a piece off... that is why I thought you needed to lick it. You know, just like ice cream."

.｡.:*☆ "Sure thing!" Simba nodded in agreement, clapping his hands as he did. "I do love movies! Maybe even more than I should. Like, I can not count the times I just fell asleep while watching one." Good thing he was still leaving his flat on a regular basis to do exercise and other stuff.

"You okay, though? Because you fell and all. Like, I could surely call an ambulance, if needed."

.｡.:*☆ Package of cookies in his hand, Simba brought it close to his face and sniffed. Of course the former king knew what cookies were - or, his human self with the fake memories did, at least - but the guy in the bakery had kept talking about new recipe and new flavours all the time. Actually he'd kept talking until Simba had finally agreed to just buy a box so he could finally leave.

“What do you think?” Brows furrowed, he looked over at his companion finally, box still in hands. “Should we just rip it open and try them? Because, yes, I have to admit I am curious. And I can never say 'no' to food, anyway, so…?”

.｡.:*☆ Simba did not really have any experience with magic whatsoever. LIke, yes, it was surely magic that had brought him to this city. And turned him human. But beyond that, it was surely more for Rafiki to have knowledge about.

But, Rafiki was not here. So, Simba had to deal himself with the fact that he.... well, sort of had control over earth now. Whatever that meant.

"Watch out!" He called while trying to get used to it, making small pebbles and a handful of dirt circling and flying around in the air. "Would not want to end up hitting you in any way, really."

.｡.:*☆ Simba jumped backwards when there was.... suddenly happening something. to clarify, he'd made some movements with his hands totally unintentionally, and now small stones and dirt was flying around. Like Simba would have taken a handful and throwing it. Only that he'd not taken a handful of dirt to throw it, of course.

"What...." He sat there on his ass in the middle of the sidewalk, still blinking in surprise. Magic was something that was totally unknown to the former lion, after all. "Is that.... I mean, can all humans do that at some stage?" He asked, confused. Mostly himself, mind you. But with the attention Simba was causing, he was sure some bystander had heard his question, as well.

.｡.:*☆ "Well, you would not have been the first one, then." Simba shrugged and nodded in reponse. While he was usually not holding back telling people about his past - especially when he was asked about it - the former prince knew not everyone was willing to accept, or, well, believe. But, it was as it was. Simba would not lie because of it. The whole thing was messed up enough already anyway, after all.

"And, it is alright. I do not think anyone in this world has heard of my father," Simba shrugged. "Kings do not seem to be such a big thing here, anyway? or, not anymore, at least. Like, I have learned this place called England has a monarchy. But, did not find out too much besides that."

.｡.:*☆ "Well, I am glad to hear that!" Simba chuckled, still sort of proud he obviously had been re-telling the story the right way. The years with Timon and Pumba had been the best time of his life, after all. But, since becoming human, well... his memories were a little spotty, at times. Plus, he had no idea if people in this city would even understand all of the references included in this one.

"But for now, enough embarrassing stories about my teenage years, really." In some of them, Simba really looked like he'd been the biggest fool in the world back then, after all. "Now is your turn. Tell me something you usually don't tell people because it is something you felt stupid doing when looking back at it now."
