I won't be playing SimGolf, but, reading Mortimer's quotes took me out last night. "What good is life without pain, PARTNER?" I know that "partner" is a placeholder for [username], but just imagining him, the absolute epitome of composure, yelling out PARDNER at full volume is just so funny to me.

@freezerbunny-sims2's post about Cassandra Goth's quotes from SimGolf (which I also dislike) reminds me that there was, technically, canon portrayals of how these SimLane Sims spoke.

Love that Bella seemed like your typical upbeat classy neighbor lady while Mortimer was a moody, gloomy dude, and Bob was the kind of people to call others 'sport'. And how they make fun of each others' homes is pretty funny considering they lived next to each other lol.

I'm gonna find SimGolf again to see more of this stuff.
