Yesterday I went to see Iron Maiden for the fourth time and they were playing in my city, my home.
After eight years I heard again "Scream for me Milano" and it felt so incredibly good, it made me feel so emotional, how I've missed this feeling!
Moreover, this specific concert was special because they were playing in San Siro stadium for the first time, and they are the first metal band playing there.
"We are honoured to be here" - Bruce said at the beginning of the concert and the proud smiles confirmed it.
The setlist was simply amazing as expected and when Bruce introduced Infinite Dreams was the peak of the emotional moment. After 38 years the song was played again, and it made me feel so emotional. Infinite dreams live is probably the best thing I've ever heard, no joking.
I lost myself when they played my favourite song of all the time, the one that made me fall in love with them when I was a young girl.
Hallowed be thy name has a special place in my heart and I'll love it forever.
(If you wonder how many times I cried, the answer is: yes)
