From Simon I (2015)
Perfectly difficult to Google, but delightfully accomplished power pop. I love the reedy, plain but confident vocal delivery and energetic, ebullient instrumentation. In places on the album, it brings to mind Matthew Sweet: smart, sharp and fun. Also, when was the last time you heard a pop/rock song fade out like that? Is it me or is that becoming a rarity?
