most relatable part of A Botanical Daughter is that part where Simon tells Gregor that he's hired Jenny as a housekeeper and Gregor snaps shut the book he was pretending to read and goes "no" and then thinks to himself that he should start carrying a book around with him all the time so he can snap it shut in distress and horror whenever he is mildly inconvenienced
