Lately, I wasn’t too lucky with cut flowers. The daffodils I bought never opened and the second time they dried up after just one day. Has that ever happened to you? But these scabiosas are just fantastic. I have never seen this variety before but find the coloration, simplicity, and airiness of the blooms so beautiful. They could be wildflowers, just picked from the field and would be perfect growing in a cottage garden.
