Kousuke hadn't had a good day. More than that, he'd just had a boring day. Everything had gone too easily, and no one had fought back--at least not in a good way. He wanted people to be scared of him, of course, but that wasn't any fun if they all just ran away. He could only take so much of that before he was in a bad mood.

He's walking too quickly, too forcefully, down the street, not caring about anyone who might get in the way--until he walks straight into some kid, that is. "Hey. Watch where you're going!" he snaps. It'd been his fault, but it wasn't like Kousuke would apologise. He was never in the mood for it, and especially not today.

Exploring as usual, this time Nai had been allowed to wander outside of the city and around the forest, albeit followed fairly closely. Delighted to be back in his element, Nai wanders, content, before realising he can hear rustling--almost like footsteps. Without hesitation, Nai follows the sound with his acute hearing, eventually coming across another boy; curious, he tilts his head. "What are you doing?" he says plainly, voicing his presence without the slightest hint of caution.
