When you came in, the air went out...

”Shit,” Mina exhaled, looking at the all too familiar neon bar sign. She’d been in the parking lot only a few minutes, but was finding it difficult to go in. She didn’t know who or what she’d find.
Mina hadn’t been to Bon Temps in...ages. There was a brief moment in time when she’d left Louisiana, after some trouble at the school, to lay low for a while. On her way back to New Orleans, she made what was meant to be a brief stop in Bon Temps so she could keep an eye on things from a safe distance. And that, was a long time ago.
Since her brief residency in Bon Temps, Mina’s life went from back to normal to totally unpredictable. She took up arms with The Winchester brothers on the tasks of putting Lucifer back in the cage, finding a way to fight Leviathan, and about a thousand different monsters and threats in between. Their jobs had brought them back to Louisiana a handful of times, but never landed them in Bon Temps, till now. Mina knew things in this shitty, sleepy town were never exactly quiet, but it worried her that she hadn’t about as much as a werewolf attack.
Though, there was always some kind of vampire drama happening under the surface; Mina knew Sookie was never far from trouble, despite trying to avoid it. So, Mina thought it wouldn’t hurt to pay the old town a little visit, and make sure everyone was ok.
Maybe her missing Sam, and having a handful of dreams about him lately, had something to do with it, too. Maybe. Mina took a breath, trotted up the old wooden stairs, and pushed open the door to Merlotte’s.
