Tsundoku 

It is a Japanese term for a person who owns a lot of unread books. The word "doku" in Japanese can be used to mean "reading," while "tsumu" means "to pile up." When fused together, you get a word that essentially means the act of allowing books to accumulate. The phrase 'tsundoku sensei' appears in text from 1879 according to the writer Mori Senzo, which is likely to be satirical, about a teacher who has lots of books but doesn't read them," he said. 

Haven’t been able to read all the books I collected over the years until now. Seems like the lockdown forces me to slow down and take things slow. Spending too much time on social media, reading and watching news only causes stress and anxiety. I mean it’s good to know about what is happening but try not to overdo it and overload your brain with too much information. 

As I am not able to take a stroll at the park for some forest bathing and sun gazing at the seaside like I used to, I had to find an alternative way of calming my soul by reading these. They not only bring me away from reality but it constantly reminds me not to get to worked up over things you can’t control. Do your best in whatever it takes to look after your own health, body and mind.
