have been listening to lorde’s melodrama on repeat recently and last night at 2am i was like......is this an album about lewis dealing with nico? the thrill of it all, the downfall, and the rise from the ashes? i think maybe so. so ofc lol, under the cut, i lazily grouped the songs together relative to lewis’ feelings re: the relationship.

the intensity, the high, the thrill, the competitiveness of the relationship:

sober.

homemade dynamite.

the louvre.

realizing that the relationship will end in nothing but ruin. the end, the aftermath:

sober ii.

green light.

when the relationship ends and lewis feels 100 things at once--worthless, foolish, abandoned, and in moments of weakness, nostalgic:

liability.

hard feelings/loveless.

supercut.

when the dust settles, when lewis settles, and finds closure, worth, insight. when he grows:

perfect places.

writer in the dark.

liability (reprise).

#again i don't really know anything about nico personally and don't care to #but from what i do know (and have come up with in my head) this is a very fitting album #especially from lewis' point of view #simply excellent #dare i say solar power (2021) will be the seb/lewis album.....we'll see #lewis hamilton #writer in the dark/liability + lewis makes me feel 2 seconds from bawling my eyes out lol #the first verses of each.........#but the outro of liability/liability (reprise).........god. God.#anyway i have a lot of feelings about lewis lol #*#seb x lewis
