I never thought 💭 I would be able to hit my weight goal after I hit 179lbs from self soothing with with food from being home sick when I moved to Atlanta. Knowing how much I hated my new side rolls, I continued to eat more bread & anything that feel right at the moment. (if you know me then you know how I love anything made with dough 😩🤤) 💕 MOST OF MY CLOTHES DIDN’T COMPLIMENT ME ANYMORE, THEY JUST HIGHLIGHTED MY ROLLS & MY MUFFIN TOP. I NEVER THOUGHT I HAD TO DEAL WITH INSECURITIES IN MY LIFE UNTIL EACH PHOTO I TOOK REMINDED ME OF HOW MUCH I NEEDED TO LOOSE WEIGHT. AT MY PHYSICAL CHECK UP MY TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVEL WAS 200mg/dL🤨 (above 200mg/dL is bad🧐) Just readjusting the way I eat & think about myself helped me reach my initial weight goal of 160lbs. Self confidence goes a long way🙌🏾 I’m on a new goal path of trying to hit my final weight goal of 150lbs. If Nina that can eat 12 glazed 🍩 in one sitting can hit her initial weight goal, then so can you! My African Luvs knows how rice is a staple in our foods. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner ain’t complete without rice😂)! It was painful initially but I don’t eat carbohydrates such as rice, pasta, pizza 😭, breads on the weekdays. I reserve my cheat days for the weekends so I don’t feel like I am missing out. By just meal prepping and eating proteins, vegetables and drinking more water from M-F (with my terrible failed attempts at trying to gym aka laziness) I got down to 160lbs, waist went from 34 inches to 29 inches 🙌🏾 & no I didn’t use a waist trainer (I have never worn one before nor purchased one). This week I started a daily routine of going to the gym M-F to help my get to my next weight goal. IF YOU SET YOUR MIND TO DO SOMETHING YOU CAN DO IT, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE POSITIVE AND TAKE “I CAN’T” OUT IF YOUR VOCABULARY.
