Check your sims' bathing "outfits", especially for storytellers! Bathing outfits are the outfit your sims "wear" when taking a bath or showering. You'll see them naked especially when you have Wicked Whims. Now I know some won't care about their sim's naked outfit, but if somewhere and somehow you plan to take a scene where they're in the bathtub contemplating life, you might want to check their bathing outfit.
Usually, skin details carry over the bathing outfit, but eyelashes (the CC ones AND the EA ones, yes even those, smh..or maybe because they're overrides? who knows, anyway) won't carry over. I'm not sure why this happens, but maybe because of excessive use of CC (lol), but it can't hurt to check. Hair? That depends, sometimes they carry over, sometimes they don't, especially alpha hairs. Makeup will also sometimes show up during bathing, so if you want them to be bare and naked properly, choose an existing outfit you have, say, your sim's sleep outfit no.1 to copy the bare face and accessories (rings, earrings, NAILS).
The steps are:
MCCC > MC Dresser > Copy/Paste (I will assume you have the selected outfit to be copied) > Copy Accessories (for the eyelashes/nails/or if you want their ring to be worn, why not) > Copy Makeup > Copy Hair (if applicable)
Exit the MCCC popups, direct your sim to the shower or bathtub. When they're bathing, click MCCC > MC Dresser > the outfit on the top should indicate "Bathing (0)". Paste the stuff you've copied (Accessories and/or Makeup) by clicking Copy/Paste, then Paste Accessories/Paste Makeup/Paste Hair (don't choose all outfits, because then, all your outfits will be barefaced)
Please do this on ONE SIM at a time! We don't want pasting these on the wrong sim!
Ya know how sometimes when you change a Sim's hair they still have the previous hairstyle when they shower? I FINALLY know how to fix it 😭🥳🥳🥳
You need MC Command Center Mod. Put the Sim in the outfit with the hair you want them to have in the shower, then open the Sim's MCCC menu. Click on MC Dresser. Click Copy/Paste. Click Copy Hair.
Once the sim is in the shower open their MCCC menu again. Click MC Dresser. Click Paste Hair (logic tells me you have to click copy/paste then paste hair but I can't remember if I had to)
