#sims cc help

hi!! quick question my laptop is currently at repair so i havent been able to do anything Ts4 wise (obviously lmfao) buuut i wanted to ask a question i had even before today; to anyone who uses preshades which are some rlly good ones would yall recommend to me? i currently use @squea “Aphros A” reshade for in game screenshots, @oakiyo ‘s “CAS Preset V2” Reshade and @simplyanjuta ‘s CAS lighting “CityLight Torchlight” (im p sure its the torchlight version but it could just be the regular one either way its the CityLight one) for CAS screenshots so basically i guess i would prefer Reshades compatible with the 4.0.0 and up version of Reshade but anyone version works, even though squea’s aphros reshade is my all time favorite i want to explore and try out more/different reshades especially in games ones to maybe switch up and post less CAS screenshots hh but im awful at looking for the best reshades for some reason (?) but especially rn that im without my laptop jsjsjsjsksjs heres some IRL art to brighten up the post idk lmfao okok cyall

has anyone ever had the issue w/ cc where two completely unrelated items end up in the same slot in cas? I don’t know why it keeps happening :/ I’m not overwriting files or merging so I’m hella confused.

I am v annoyed. I made the cutest couple pose for my sims driving (obviously posed inside a CC car: a selfie taken by the passenger with the driver also in the selfie) and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work. Anytime I get close enough to my sim to take a photo that looks like a selfie, the car fades out. It also does not reappear when going into tab mode. It also still fades out when going into build/buy mode. And I’m really really frustrated and upset. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve seen car selfie poses before, but ughhhhjjjjgggg. HELP. I want this to work so bad.

Like dude I beg. I wish I knew how to make sims 4 hair and cc’s myself man. I’d have so many and I could make my iz oc eek to go with! Augh.

serious question: i use the makeup/facepaint slider a lot on my sims esp on lips, blush, eyeshadows and non-def eyes under facepaint, when i put them on a completely new save with all those settings reset straight from gallery to cas/household menu editing they look the same but if i use the MCCC copy/paste the make up resets the sliders (?) so my big thing is: i want to make a sim dump but i want to make sure if i put a household/sim for download and a person downloads it and puts in their game will those sliders reset even through cas?

Hi all I’ve posted this onto s4s too but thought I’d ask here I’ve made an item from the game that wasn’t originally functional but it is now due to what I’ve done. Now I’ve gotten it to work however when I go in-game to test the interaction is greyed out and it says “ cannot use object when placed on the ground.” It’s doing this no matter where I place the object I’ve tried counters , tables , desks etc
