Introducing: Active Social Neighborhood

Something interesting has been happening in my game lately.

The way Sims behave at neighborhood parties has become much more fun, organic, and coherent. Gatherings feel livelier, and invitations are becoming far less predictable. More than that, managing parties has been an AMAZING experience!

All of this is the direct result of a new experiment I’ve been working on: Active Social Neighborhood — a mod focused on improving how Sims behave during parties and how social events naturally emerge throughout the world.

I shared a video showing three different types of parties in action: • a beach street party • a pool party • a bonfire gathering at the diner

Cherry Kiss - Pink UI Mod- Sims 3 cc - BETA 🍒

💖 I have been looking for a pink UI for a long time. There are a few amazing ones out there, but for me, they were either too bright or too dark. Then I realized I have free will—so I made my own! I originally created it for myself, but I thought I might as well share it in case someone else would like to use it. 💖 ✨ BETA This mod is currently in testing! Some parts might have the wrong color or be unfinished. How much I update this mod will depend on how interested people are. At the very least, I plan to adjust some UI elements that have purple hues so they match better with cherry pinks. ✨ CONFLICT I haven’t found any conflicts yet, but it might conflict with other mods that alter the UI. If you find any issues, please let me know!

I'm learning how to use the Arsil foodmaker mod and it's so fun! It takes a little playing around and I haven't got it all figured out, but I love functional mods and this one, this one is a good one. I can put this pitcher anywhere and they can get their drinks! Perfection. I love this mod too much.

I'm currently working on a historical/fantasy-themed neighborhood and am in desperate need of custom content to bring my vision to life. Please note that many of these reference images are from Sims 4 custom content created by incredibly talented creators. I'd like to give proper credit where it's due: On the first moodboard, item 2 is by @sulsulzukohere, item 3 by @littledovesz, items 7, 19, and 20 by @simstoricalish, items 16 and 17 by @bellevalentim, and items 21 and 22 by @sulsulzukohere. I'm hoping to adapt similar styles and designs for Sims 3—your expertise in porting or recreating these would be amazing!

1. Clothing: Medieval/Fantasy Dresses

A collection of elegant, flowing gowns inspired by medieval and Renaissance styles. These should include variations in colors and details as shown in the references:

Brown/earthy toned dress with laced bodice and full skirt (front view of a woman with curly hair).

White gown with long sleeves and subtle embroidery.

Pink/orange flowing dress with layered skirts.

Green velvet-style gown with fitted bodice.

Blue dress with intricate gold detailing and a high collar.

Teal/cyan gown with fantasy elements like ethereal sleeves.

These should be for adult female Sims, with options for everyday, formal, or party wear. High-poly meshes for realism would be ideal, along with proper LODs and textures.

2. Accessories: Jewelry and Headpieces

Ornate jewelry to complement the dresses, including:

Gold necklaces with gemstone pendants (e.g., ruby or emerald styles).

Elaborate crowns and tiaras in silver and gold, featuring floral or gem motifs.

Circlets and headbands with intricate filigree and jewels.

Earrings and brooches in matching medieval designs.

References include veiled headdresses, pearl necklaces, diamond crowns, and fantasy-inspired pieces like those with purple or green accents.

3. Interior Objects and Decor

A variety of medieval-themed furniture and decor to furnish castles, manors, or fantasy homes:

Statues of figures (e.g., marble-like busts or full-body sculptures).

Arched windows and doorways with stained glass effects (green-tinted panels).

Ornate mirrors and wall hangings.

Floral garlands, chandeliers, and gothic arches.

Wedding-style elements like veils, dresses on mannequins, and decorative urns.

These should integrate seamlessly into Sims 3 builds, with appropriate shadows, animations where possible, and compatibility with base game or common expansions (e.g., World Adventures or Late Night).

4. Mod: Replacing Glasses with Medieval Goblets

A simple mesh replacement mod to swap out modern wine glasses or drinking goblets in the game with authentic medieval-style chalices or tankards.

The new models should feature engraved metal designs, jewel inlays, and a rustic yet elegant look (think goblets from a feast hall).

This mod should target objects from the base game or expansions like Late Night/Ambitions, ensuring no conflicts with existing CC. It would be amazing if it included recolors for gold, silver, and wooden variants.

NPCRomance Mod (BETA)

This pure scripting mod attempts to breathe some life into your Sims' NPC friends and romantic interests by allowing them a chance to advance their relationship with your sim when they are nearby.

NPCs now have a small chance or additional chance to:

Ask your active sim out on a date

Kiss or First Kiss with your active sim

Initiate Woohoo with your active sim

Ask your active sim to Go Steady

Propose to your active sim

Initiate Try for Baby with your active sim

All of these interactions have multiple conditions and are cancellable, but your active sim will decide whether to accept them.

This pure scripting mod is currently in beta, as it’s my first scripting mod. It’s far from being perfect. Please let me know if you encounter problems or have any suggestions.

Update 2.0.0b

Update 2.0.0b is a complete rewrite of the script from the top down. It no longer uses the inaccurate polling and targeting system from 1.0.0b, instead using a listener event. It should be lighter on your game and generally work better. It also now works for all sims, including sims in the active household. You can read the full patch notes here.

Nuevo color de interfaz.

Pues bueno, hoy estaba navegando en la pagina modthesims y me descargue varios mods, entre ellos una nueva interfaz colorida para el juego, como sabrán mi color favorito es el morado y el rosa, así que no pude resistirme y instalé este mod.

Me fascinó, es muy kawaii... Puede que el color no sea para todos pero al menos a mi me encantó

New UI Recolor

Well, today I was browsing the modthesims page and I downloaded several mods, including a new colorful interface for the game, as you know my favorite color is purple and pink, so I couldn't resist and installed this mod.

I'm fascinated, it's very kawaii, maybe the colors are too much for some people but I really like it.

(sorry for the poor quality of the images, they were literally edited in Paint xD)
