DBH Grade School AU: Zlatko
Chloe: “Welcome home! How was school today?”
Gavin: “I learned that the other parents are misers, all of them! After I collected everyone’s lunch money, it still wasn’t enough to pay for the window.”
Chloe: “What window, Gav?!”
Gavin: “Oh, you know! The one Tina shot my ball into last week, with the terrarium behind it. Can you imagine those losers still haven’t found all the little snakes that escaped that day?”
Chloe: “Oh my god... What did your teacher say?”
Gavin: “Nothing, Aunt Chloe. I told Mr. Josh how everyone had contributed to paying off the window and it was speechless at how my teamwork has improved! Then it wrote something down in its booklet, I bet it was an A+!”
Elijah: “Awsome! That’ll teach people better than to call us antisocial!”
Chloe: “Uh, right. I expect Mr. Josh will want to tell me all about it soon. How about your day, El?”
Elijah: “We finished our projects today. Mine ran away, but only after I got graded for it, so don’t worry, mom. Oh, and I deviated the janitor, but I swear it was an accident and the shotgun wasn’t loaded anyway! I think you have an e-mail about it from Mr. Andronikov.”
Chloe: Did I pay the insurance? How bullet-proof exactly did the firm say are those windows? Maybe I should look into boarding schools for the boys...
Gavin: “And, and, and Daniel said their swimming pool is larger than ours!!!”
Elijah: “Surface or volume?”
Fortunately poor Chloe is human in this AU, otherwise she’d have deviated and went on a violent rampage years ago already.
