I had that same issue. Never found a solution so I just turned off winter.

Have you tried just disabling snow (not winter unless you're tired of winter) for a bit until the neighborhood calms its hormones?
I like the snow, though. :/ Although, granted I want to punch it right now...

That's really odd, I have long winters and only get a couple of snow days a year.
What drives me crazy is that it wasn't snowing at all during the day, but the game gave me that stupid snow day again anyway!

you can use a cheat on the on the ground I do it all the time

I've had the same problem in the past. I usually use the testing cheats, and shift click the snow level to 0.

With testing cheats on, shift+click on the ground to stop the snow when it starts. There may be some mods but you can control the weather.
I'm trying really hard not to use cheats in this save, but I'll keep that in mind. I also have a weather-stone thing I could use as well.

I couldn't find a mod that give you less snow days but there is one by bluegenjutsu on TFM's Asylum that let's you have have less snow.

I must be weird, I have snow turned off
I generally like the snow in my game because I think it makes my neighborhood pretty.

Shorten the length of winter to only a day or two? idk I have yet to mess around with the seasons.
That's actually not a bad idea. I can just stick the days I take away from it on the other three seasons.

Unfortunately I haven't any but I think it's totally hilarious
If I wasn't trying to play my game I'd find it funny, but it's just so frustrating!

Technically, I murdered them via a cheat. Story-wise, they crossed Techrat and he murdered them.
