Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce that I have a new PC and I'm back with even better content for you. Keep an eye out for some exciting updates coming soon!
Meanwhile: shenanigans. Antonia: Take that, Capp...
How does a police officer arrest someone?
It’s part of the DMA set. Unfortunately the site is long gone and there’s very little documentation in the Booty, so I can’t tell you what else it does, and be aware that some of the sets come with NPCs (ETA: and there’s a whole bunch of woohoo mods there too), but the three files I have are dmaOBJ_PoliceCar, dmaOBJ_Support and dma_SupportPM, which allows me to call the police if Sims start fighting, and also call paramedics to cure Sims of disease.
Sorry for that massive delay, I’m in a weird funk where I can’t be bothered to do anything...
Why do they keep mispronouncing my name?
freezerbunny-sims said: My teachers never pronounce my German last name right and I never bother correcting them. It can either be pronounced in German or in its Spanish-ified version, but they always pronounce it like it’s English.
You don’t live in an English speaking country, right? How do they even get the idea to pronounce it English?
hemfbg said: I went to high school with a lot of Sri Lankan students and this would happen a lot, particularly with their surnames. It’s very disrespectful when they don’t even try to learn the proper pronunciation.
Oh, God yes. For some reason, Sri Lankan names never get pronounced correctly (met a few in university) and no one feels the need to try. They’re not that hard to pronounce. If you’re able to pronounce every weird English-sounding name German parents can come up with, you can put the effort into pronouncing “foreign” sounding names, too. When I’m unsure how to pronounce the name of one of my students, I ask them once. No big deal.
Bluewater Village Micro Mall
sushigal007 said: I motherloded the hell out of a townie and made her buy it (plus a bunch of other lots) and now it’s full of functional shops and is one of my favourite places to send sims.
That might be an option, yeah.
lesbian-hello-kitty said: I think it would be fun to play it with a household of roomates and have each one take care of each corner store. So like, you have a toy making sim, a robot making sim, etc. and they all sell their stuff
Also a good option, though that sounds exhausting to play XD.
Thanks, matchmaker

It’s a default by @midgethetree here.
Ceiling fans
squeezleprime said: the ceiling fans do cool Sims down. but remember to turn them off when it isn’t summer.
resplendentgoldenwings said: The ceiling fans do I don’t remember about the radiators.
simsllama said: I thought they don’t affect the temperature?
taylors-simblr said: Yes they’re both functional, but they won’t cause freezing or overheating unless your sim already close to those states. They will help to cool sims down though, good for kids jumping on beds, and warm them up, plus cute animation for the radiator
So far, I haven’t seen any significant cool down effect with the fans... Maybe it’s because I used the lowest speed?
APOLLO LOVES YOU!

episims said: I just love how Apollo has exactly the same personality than my RL pup xD
He’s modelled after a more extreme version of Needles, my old dog. Would have modelled him after our surviving dog, but let’s be real, that one’s a sociopath. (Still love him.)
