Planning each Neighborhood

Well since I’m going to have to restart my whole game and all my makeovers, I thought I might pre-plan which each neighborhood would look like. Any input on my ideas is much appreciated, so here I go :)

Obviously, for Strangetown it would be quite high-tech and modern, but would still have some elements of old architecture. I kind of saw Strangetown as one of the first neighborhoods along with Veronaville. But once Aliens landed that’s when the town progressed became quite modern.

Next, for Veronaville it will be based on the Shakespeare story of Romeo and Juliet so the architecture would look quite old and classical. I don’t think there would be any modern looking houses, as I see it as a city trying to keep its heritage. Maybe one building could look modern and the residents hate it and want it torn down, but I don’t know yet.

Pleasantview I see as a town where no two houses look the same. It all has a suburbia feel, but the houses look different. Pleasantview I also feel like had the most planning as to a rich area and poor zone, so I like how each part looks different. The Goth’s house I will keep with the old, classical feel, because I imagine that house being built around the same time as Strangetown/ Veronaville and it only recently started to turn into a town, instead of the Goths owning this huge slab of land to themselves.

Riverblossom Hills is going to be a farm town, so lots of wood siding. I also imagine it being on the off skirts of town, like Strangetown. But maybe on the complete other side of the city.

Desiderata Valley I see as a more progressive town then Pleasantview, but it still has that suburb feel. Desiderata Valley would be closer to the city centre. I see it a town where students fresh out of college go to start their dreams.

Bluewater village I see as kind of a retirement town like it’s quiet and most of the people living there know each other. They see no need to explore outside of their town because everything they need is right there. But it also leads to young people hating the place. It will just have a small town/ suburb look.

Last Belladonna Cove is where dream happens, it’s a fast-paced environment and is attached to downtown but is seen as more liveable. Lots students/ poor people live here because the apartments are cheap, but it also has the super wealthy as well. There is no middle class. I see it as having an industrial feel and would look quite grungy.

you guys are influencing me and now I'm really considering getting into pose packs and making more edits of my sims as the legacy goes on.....as if I need to spend any more time on sims hahahaha

whew! now i can go back to building for a while in peace!(maybe)

i do still need to do both skell's plantsim dress(the short one with no sleeves) and reira's barefoot edit of that too. i have some done, but they were made before i got my plant palette solidified.

i'd also like to make some more leafy type colors, like japanese maple. something about that deep red-purple. maybe veggie colors? i know i'd like to make some plant recolors that match my pumpkin heads. decisions, decisions!

Maybe it’s just me...but i miss the bubble blower from Sims 2. Wish I could have it for Sims 4
