the blooming jealousy in devyn's chest was hard to ignore. her heart ached at the mere idea of trace going on a date with someone else, not that she had exactly made her feelings known or anything. it was better this way - but she couldn't stand the idea of him going on a date with someone right now. she needed more time to settle with the idea. "please don't go on this date." she asked him surprised she even mustered the courage to do so. "i mean - i just .. i don't think they're that great of a fit for you is all. you already don't like the restaurant they picked.. maybe just don't go?" // @sinfulhymns

It was a rash decision, one that he made on a whim. Ambrose was sure when he moved in that this house was haunted. It could have been the old creaky wooden floors, the chipped paint. Maybe, it was the fact that the attic was left completely full of old antiques and heirlooms. He knew that his time should be spent unpacking but he was eager to search through the dust and spider-web covered things. That’s when he stumbled upon a box of old photos, some that were still incased in picture frames. Ambrose picked up one, blowing away the dust and temporarily coughing as he waved away the fog of dirt. He stared at the picture, taken back by the beauty of the girl in the photo. He started taking the back off the frame, curious whether there was a name or date etched on the back of it but instead, a letter fell out. How odd. 

What is this shit? Ambrose thought after opening the letter, puzzled by its inscription. If he wasn’t freak out before, he definitely was now.  He didn’t want this to turn into some kind of Evil Dead scenario. Will he become possessed after reading this, or perhaps cursed? His eyes follow the text, reading it over his head and decide it wasn’t best to read it aloud. 

Ambrose left the letter in the attic and went to bed, not prepared to what he would wake up to in the morning. When the sun started to peak through the curtains, causing him to stir but it was the presence of another body in his bed that caused him to sir. His feet got tangled in the sheets making him tumble to the hard floor. “What... who-- who are you?!” It wouldn’t be the first time Ambrose woke up to a foreign body in his bed after a night of getting drunk and blacking out but he never drank the night before.

a heavy and slightly annoyed sigh escaped min as he stopped in front of one of the pieces displayed in a temporary gallery at the museum. he’d submitted multiple pieces for the directors to choose from yet they chose, in his mind, the worst of the bunch to display. “awful,” he said out loud. “honestly, they should have burned this one,” he said, directing his attention to one of the visitors. “actually, i think you should burn it,” he said, stepping close to the painting and dismounting it from the wall. he held it out for the other to take. “here, you can have it. i’m sure the artist would rather have one person do what they will with it than have it be seen by hundreds of people.”

Distraction, Evan’s mind was constantly searching out some sort of distraction to take his mind off the racing thoughts that plagued his mind. While it had become easier for him to quiet his mind whenever he was in the other’s presence, it mainly had something to do with the fact that it was easy for him to fixate on Seline. Whether it was listening to her speak or focusing all of his attention on how beautiful the color of her eyes was, she always took his mind off things. A small smile settled across his lips as he sat close to her, suddenly feeling a soft touch to his hair. The touch immediately snapped him out of his daze and he found himself deciding to wrap his arms around Seline and pull her into his arms, the tips of his fingers tracing the small of her back as he held her close to him. “I wish we could stay like this forever,” he murmured, his voice softer than usual.

shitty au: my cat ran across the road and you fell off your bike and got knocked down and i had to awkwardly invite you to my place to clean you up.

   Taemin is chasing the cat around yelling after 'missy.' This wasn't even his cat! It was his sister's but there's no way in hell he's going to let it get away. He's not paying attention as he crouched down to grab the black and white cat. His fingers wrapped around the soft fur as he pulled her up. A victory 'hooray' escaped him as he celebrated this. During his little celebration, he managed to miss how someone had fallen off their bike because of him and 'missy' the cat. Turning to the new scene the male feels bad. "Shit! I didn't-- Fuck! I didn't mean for that to happen. Missy, look at what you caused." He said deflated as he looked at the other. "Would you like to come in? I got a first aid kit-- I can help get you cleaned up. I feel pretty bad this happened because of us." All Taemin can think is stupid cat because it was all her fault. "I do feel awful about this. She wasn't meant to be this much trouble. I swear I'm never cat sitting again." @sinfulhymns
