It’s been a while since I was in a chorus or choir type thing but I sing to myself almost every day and I think I’m getting better. I still have to learn to pull it from my chest and not my nose, which unfortunately happens better when I’m having trouble breathing due to allergies hahaha.
I don’t want to make a career out of singing. Music just means so much to me and I wish I had a beautiful voice even though I’ll never sing in public or make any music of my own. I mean, I have some songs in my head but I’m not a composer by any means so I doubt they’ll ever come to life. Mostly I just like to sing my favorite songs to myself, my favorites being songs by Anuna of Galadriel’s Songs of Eldamar (spelling?). I still can’t hit the high notes and I still can’t sing that long without hurting a little while because I do it wrong lol.
I’ll probably never sing for anyone. There are a few people I would love to sing to, play an instrument for, or listen to them do the same but I probably never will. I’m way too shy and nervous and I havent played the piano or read sheet music in a very long time. most of them are much more talented than me anyway. I wouldn’t want to ruin music for them LOL
But I dunno. Maybe someday I’ll play piano again, or learn to play the guitar or violin like I always wanted. So I can play for those people who mean a lot to me and express my feelings through music. I’ve never been too good with words anyway.
