I'm thinking of starting roleplaying, if I can call it that. I'm more interested in developing a character, but on my own, without interactions from other players. Is that even roleplaying or not? I'm thinking of having a blog where the character is showcasing their day to day life, thoughts and feelings. I've figured out what all the basic means; oc, fc etc. But what do I write if I don't want interaction, and basically play with myself in my own universe, for others to follow if they like.
That’s pretty much just writing. That is the act of being an author. With a serial publishing format! Which is cool, and great, but also not RP technically. I’m also a writing help blog though so I’m not gonna whine about that. Roleplaying is 2+-Player wordpad, and writing by yourself is just writing a diary or short story compilation novel. So not RP… but it is writing! Develop your world and go nuts, and I hope you get followers. Just say “Not an RP blog” and people will leave you alone except excitedly asking for updates if they love it. Believe you-me, it’s harder to find RP than to avoid it.
