Today is officially "Single tasking day". It's a day to get things done, one at a time. The best way to celebrate is to take a break from all the distractions. That means no multi tasking today. Focus on ONE thing at a time. SINGLE TASKS only! (I bet you'll get more done). #multitasking #multitaskingmom #productivityhacks #singletaskingday #onethingatatime #focusedonmygoals (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLmRUf5HJ49/?igshid=if7d8mrs3gh6

February 18th- Single Tasking Day
Oh man, this day could not have come at a better time. For the month of February, I've been snowed under with things to do and with no organisational skills to sort them out. So I took single tasking day quite literally and sat down to make a list of all the things I needed to do. They included-
Washing
Write invoices
Send invoices
Buy/send birthday cards to aunts
Send emails I've promised to send
Book gig tickets
Research work stuff
Write up this blog
Buy ice-cream (this was highlighted and underlined)
..pretty dull stuff, as I'm sure you'll agree. But all the kind of things that slowly pile up until they become a mountainous glut of tasks and you feel rather overwhelmed. In just writing down the list and focusing on each task in turn, I already felt calmer and ready to handle all of my Life Administration.
Tomorrow- Chocolate Mint Day!
