I’m new to posting fics, and was wondering if you had any advice on how to get more people reading? I obviously don’t have a big following since I just started, and I know numbers aren’t everything. Just curious ☺️
Also, how do people get the pictures at the top of each chapter/fic? Is it literally just the image button and picking 3 (or whatever) you have saved?

as for numbers in general, i will say that it does take some time, but it definitely helps to engage with other writers on here, make some oomfs, and always tag your stuff!! also if you can & have the capacity, let your followers know you’re down to take requests. i think that helps you reach more people, too!and about the pictures: yess, i usually find them on pinterest, save them to my phone & sometimes edit them before uploading them. on the app, there’s a limit of 10 pictures (i think?), so if you’re working on a smau, for example, you’ll have to upload them through the website :)
