Rewriting some old fics

So I'm wanting to begin reposting my kfp fics from tumblr to my new Deviantart page. But, after going back and rereading them, particularly the first several chapters of T5YJ, I realized something.

I've never been too happy with those first few chapters. I never felt they flowed naturally into the overall story. This was mostly due to me writing those chapters before I had a full plan on what the story was going to be.

So I'm gonna George Lucas this shit and make "The Five Year Journey: Special Edition". I'm going to be completely rewriting the first several chapters of the story from the ground up to make the overall story much more fluid and natural and help it match my vision for the story as a whole. Plus, doing so will also help current and future chapters be better as they will have more to work off of from the newly rewritten earlier chapters.

I may also do this for my other fics as well, particularly "Living The Panda Life" and "The Harvest Goddess". With LTPL, I only ever meant for it to be a one-shot. But my followers wanted more so I wrote a part 2. I have also written parts 3 and 4 and have an outline for part 5 to be the finale (parts 3 and 4 are fully finished and have been for well over a year but due to the less than stellar reaction I got for part 2, I never posted them). And with THG, I never had a "plan" for that story outside of a basic concept and was mostly making up the story as I went along. But in doing so i made several consistency errors within the story. So, that will also need to be reworked a bit to fix those problems as well.

So yeah. Keep an eye on my deviantart page because I will soon be posting the special editions of T5YJ and other fics (hopefully) in the coming weeks. I'll be sure to share the links here as well.

Also, some of you may remember a fic I started nearly two years ago but never continued called "Running Up That Hill". Chapter 1 was posted but I never got around to finishing it. I've always wanted to continue this story as it was a very close one to my heart for a long time with a very powerful message and an incredible arc for Tigress. I plan to continue that one (eventually) as well in the near future.
