14. what’s your worst writing habit?

possibly forcing myself to write when i don't want to. i used to be quite proud that i wrote no matter what but after a few too many crying fits i realized maybe i need to take more breaks from writing if it isn't going well instead of forcing things. took me a while to realize my bad mood might be burn out... :(

16. where is your favorite place to write?

like with the previous answer, i tried really hard to cultivate no rituals. i wanted to write whenever possible, wherever. that said, i'm usually writing at home, and my dual screen set up is really my favorite.

17. what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?

this is hard... but I often think about this one line at the end of a scene from my unpublished ch 4 of my Game of Thrones fic, Sing Me Safely Home which is about Jon and Tormund going north of the Wall after season 8

I'm gonna put the whole bit (129 words) leading up to a it behind a jump because it includes some gore and an execution. I love this bit SO SO much! I just need to iron out the end of this chapter and come up with a framing device and I can post it lol... its been waiting on that for a year now though.

"Do it," Tormund said, dropping the man back to his knees. Tormund placed his hand against Jon's, pressing the knife harder against the man's neck. "If you don't do it, he'll run back to his masters and they'll send others after you straight away. Or he'll try again and be less stupid about it." Jon's hand didn't move. “Jon,” Tormund whispered. A fine mist of sleet began to blow, and the cold was eager, but Jon’s grasp slackened. Tormund pressed his hand harder against Jon's, the dagger digging into the man's throat, and blood ran over their hands. The man gurgled, his eyes feral like a silent animal, and he gasped uselessly for breath. They stood in the silence, the dawn coming over them like something too soft, undeserved.

when eva isn't on base, olesya 100% abuses the extremely airtight encrypted messaging set up among the petrova taskforce to send her a million pictures of what you've been up to without her. by the time she comes back, she's always very eager to make up for what she missed out on.

your body and your pleasure becomes a site for a kind of push and pull between them. when eva tells you to hold out, because you don't deserve to cum yet, olesya makes it unnecessarily hard for you. when you're past begging and near tears because olesya keeps teasing you, fingers running through your folds but evading your clit no matter how hard you try to grind against them, eva tells her to stop being so cruel, it doesn't suit you. and if eva tells you you're being so good, always so eager to let them use you, olesya will look at her with a bittersweet little smile and say that if anyone would know about using people, it would be her. and it's a small barb, one she immediately tries to downplay by curling her fingers in a way that drives you insane and draws a truly whimper from you that can only be described as pornographic, but the sharpness of the remark still lingers, makes eva dig her fingers into you just a little bit harder.

there are tender moments, too. you'll be prone, face between eva's though while olesya's strap ruts into you from behind, and eva will pull your head up, brush the hair from your face and look at you with a smile more tender than any you've seen on her before. and olesya will trail her fingers down your spine and tell you how pretty you both are right now. and for a moment it gets a little easier to pretend that this doesn't have to end in heartbreak.

4. Do you save your 'cut scenes' from your fics? (Want to share one?)

I use to not save anything that I cut, but I've realized I lost some lines that I really liked that way lol. When I was working on one of my fics a weekish ago i decided to just cut and paste them into a different doc. Context: Mor came to visit the bookstore!

A bittersweet feeling washed over you. “My father. He was a talented woodcarver, and made almost everything in this store.” Memories of him telling you of his training in Autumn to get you to sleep threatened to overtake you, and you took a calming breath before curling your toes in your shoes, bringing yourself back to the moment

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Hmmm there are many, my couples start off in a n unhinged sort of toxic way but they develop, they always do. I tend to write a lot about male abuse which many people don't care about. My main male characters are always like a coconut.

Nothing much really I'm certainly not a writer's writer but I do enjoy the stories I create, I read them in my free time just to watch my characters grow into a better person. So the plot development is one thing I enjoy about my fics.
