Recently finished Power Play by the D&Dorks, a fantastic Masks RPG campaign with excellent storytelling and amazing roleplay moments, that left me in tears. I've submitted a piece to the art contest for the final episode but I wanted to create one for the first episode as well (also cause hyperfixation went brrr around these dorks). Go watch the show - it's great!

After watching Sir_Superhero's video on Xemnu and learning about how Al Ewing brought back an old mind-control themed villain with a fresh horror twist, I am really stoked to see what he does with Sleeper.

Sleeper's just as insidious as Xemnu, but on a much smaller scale. Everyone agrees that its methods are unethical and will say so, but no one goes to any great length to stop it. Because Sleeper does get results.

But Sleeper's still a Brock, and sooner or later it's going to encounter the Brock Family Curse: The consequences of their hubris. And Sleeper's got a LOT of hubris.

So I got into a youtube channel recently which I think is called Sir_Superhero. As you can probably guess theres a lot of superhero media analysis. Anyway, on one of the videos he mentioned that the avatar used on the channel originated from a different channel he's involved in, DNDorks. Specifically from a series of superhero games they did called Power Play.

Im curious. Go to check it out. Couple episodes in and the most hilarious thing just happened.

Early on one of the players, with no prompting by the DM, mentioned a resource he had. One which ended up being key to solving the superhero problem of the day. After the reveal that that was so perfect for things, the DM is being giddy about it and the player says he had an Apollo moment and that he got hit by the dodgeball. He's totally on Tumblr. Hey TBD. I like your shoelaces.

We've got a Vampire Frog, a Cat furry, a Changeling that started a licking trend, secrets around every corner that are being reaveiled by a great and passionate DM(who is pan/ace, nICE)

(also if you know Pandaredd, you know, the guy that does the funny dc batfam skits on tiktok, HE'S HERE TOO)

I fell in love with this campaign near instantly, mainly because a lot of the cast are first time players that have No morals, don't ask me how many they've killed, because idk. I love them anyway.

I wanna say more about it, but saying literally anything will give too much away. It's so good, trust me

3 hour episodes and only 9.5 episodes, this story is compact and wild at every turn! Can't recommend it enough!

(seriously tho, please watch this i need to interract to people into this, there is no fandom and I'm loosing my mind about it, and if there is, it's so small idk where to find it, help)
