I decided I wanted to continue the primate theme for all Venom-related characters, so if I ever do more of them (like Carnage, or Toxin), they'll be primates too

Dylan's critter was specifically chosen because I asked resident primate expert @mike-princeofstars what the primate with the most "cat energy" was and he said the red ruffed lemur. Dylan has to be at least a little kitty to match with Sleeper, of course

I recently did a little reread on Dylan's comics and I gotta say, I really love him more than ever. He's such a strong character and so tragic and interesting, and I could spend hours just blabbing about his arc and personality and themes. Ugh. My beautiful boy

If I was composing music for a Venom TV show, each symbiote would have a bass line leitmotif that would harmonize with each host's leitmotif accordingly but in different ways

Carnage's bass line would have an insane time signature.

I think within the next issue or two, Dylan is going to try to seek an audience with the Eventuality again, the only way he knows how.

He's grieving, feeling isolated and rejected, and has no idea where to go from here. The Eventuality was able to give him some answers last time; Maybe it will happen a second time.

And then if he succeeds, Hela will hijack it and bring Dylan to herself instead. And Dylan will use his connection to Sleeper via the Hive to send out an SOS.

Still... I can just imagine Dylan holding a weapon in hand contemplating it like "I've come back from death before, so there's a chance it could happen again. And if it doesn't work, well... maybe everyone's better off without me anyway." 🥺

Suicide does run in the family, after all. Eddie, Anne... maybe now Dylan too.

I have completely gaslit myself into believing Dylan/Valeria is going to be a thing. All of my predictions on how the story will go moving forward just run with the assumption that those two will pop into each other's comics frequently.

Like, I'm not going to be upset if it doesn't happen or anything, I just think it's very funny how much I actually believe it. 🤣

A missed opportunity with Eddie Brock: Carnage was not having Eddie offer Carnage chocolate to see if he'd have an easier time controlling his bloodlust and Carnage cringing away in disgust like a spoiled kid who's given vegetables for the first time in a long while.

Sorry Eddie, Cletus raised him on a brains/meat-only diet.

Something I was thinking, it is implied that newborn symbiotes adapt with the environment, the Carnage symbiote looks like blood because it was born inside Cletus's blood, the Scorn symbiote is a part cyborg because it was born within the prosthetic arm of its host, does that mean that Sleeper has the ability to create pheromones because Eddie and the symbiote were horny? I'm sorry.
