Due the laws against same-sex relationships, Ty Lee and Azula had to find the most dangerous places to spend some quality time.

Yeah yeah, I know, the Fire Nation here is pretty much a forest sea. I took some liberties alright. Bear with me. Also I know the Northern Lights make no geographical sense but they sure do look pretty. A big shout out to @sooz-again for the feedback on the vanishing points!

Commission in which the prompt was "Cute Tyzula" I'm ashamed to admit that I spent 4 days trying to think a "cute" scenario. The best I could muster was "Azula returns home after weeks being away in a mission and while talking with the Fire Lady she is pulled aside by Ty Lee for an emergency (a hug)"

What it started as drawing for shit & giggles, ended up turning into a study.

Latest commission in which the prompt was: A 2 Panel mini comic based on this iconic scene from The Empire Strikes Back where Leia tells Han Solo "I love you" and he responds "I know". The Premise is almost the same: It's post war where Azula isn't redeemed but instead is tried and found guilty for all her crimes. Just as she's about to be executed, Ty Lee takes the moment to declare her love for Azula (fearing this will be her only chance), and Azula, though stone faced but secretly sad, admits she knows and has always known, leaving a bitter ending to their friendship It would have been easier to reenact that scene and have just a close up of Ty Lee and Azula saying the dialogue, but to show all the context I ended up doing two paintings practically. Also I made Zuko the executioner to add a new layer of angst to this story.
